Hi There
“This is where I feel most alive—guided by nature, grounded by animals, and open to healing.”
“Healing begins in quiet moments—on horseback, under the sky, with nothing but breath and presence.”

🌿 Meet Ilona Iskandar
Founder of Soul Trails Coaching
Hi, I’m Ilona Iskandar—founder of Soul Trails Coaching.
I was born in Guadeloupe and spent over 20 years working internationally in animal training, therapy, and racing. In 2016, I moved to Australia to continue my work, but my journey was never just professional, it was deeply personal. Growing up, I carried a lot of trauma. Animals were always my escape.
I found peace walking my dogs alone to the beach or through the forest, and to this day, they remain my greatest source of healing. Riding horses in the early morning light, I often catch myself daydreaming. Those quiet moments help me move through life with grace and resilience. Spirituality, wellness, and meditation helped me reconnect with myself. They gave me tools to heal, to grow, and to understand others with deep empathy. That’s why I created Soul Trails Coaching, to offer others the same space for emotional clarity and soulful connection that animals and nature gave me.
As a certified Health and Wellness Coach (Cert IV), I help people navigate stress, burnout, and life transitions with practical tools and emotional support. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply out of rhythm, I guide you to re-organise your life in a way that feels balanced, intentional, and true to you.
I’m currently completing my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with YogaRenew, deepening my ability to offer embodied, soulful support through movement, breathwork, and mindfulness.
Today, I blend health and wellness coaching with emotional support, and nature-based healing. Wherever we meet in nature or in conversation, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported.
If you’re seeking emotional clarity, soulful growth, or just a moment to breathe and reconnect, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.
Let’s explore healing together through nature and honest connection.
